At the 3.1 Phillip Lim Sample Sale

I stopped by the 3.1 Phillip Lim Sample Sale midday yesterday and the 40 minute wait was well worth it because there was an abundance of great merchandise, that was moving fast!  Designer Phillip Lim was working the room and model Tao Okamoto was helping to put clothes back on the rack.  I even overheard Phillip Lim tell a woman that she looked great in a dress and suggested that she wear it with leggings for a young, hip look.  The items range from $30 for swimwear and underwear, $50 tees, dresses from $150 to $300.  Shoes were priced at $100 a pair, which is an excellent deal, but there wasn't too much left.   All proceeds go to the American Red Cross Japan Relief Fund, so you should check it out too and if you're lucky, maybe get some styling advice from the designer himself!

I was lusting after these wedges but unfortunately it was last pair and not my size anyway! Go before there are none left!

Friday Finds

My friend told me about the International Inspirations accessories sample sale, so I decided to stop by the last Friday night. Everything was priced from $2 for hair accessories to $5 for rings, bracelets, and necklaces. There were some items that were from their black label for $10. Unfortunately it was the last day of the sale, and I arrived when it was closing so I didn't have much time to browse, but did see a lot of interesting and fun items. I had seen one of my friends wear hot pink feather earrings - she wears them on one ear and it looked so cool! When I saw these red ones, I couldn't resist! And of course, what girl doesn't like to have a rock on their hand?
