This season Tadashi Shoji was inspired by the Italian city of canals, Venice. Mr. Shoji showed plenty of delicate frocks, frothy with floral lace, sheer silk, and sequins. The color scheme ranged from sophisticated black and white to more subdued hues of mint, lavender, and peach, fitting for an elegant night out in the famed city of romance.

Tadashi Shoji Fall 2011
The influence for Tadashi's Fall 2011 Show was the ancient gardens of the Far East and harmony between humanity and nature. The beautiful soft colors and fluid draping in wool and silk reminded me of a forest full of delicate flowers or exotic bird. The dresses were simple, mostly monochromatic, but with subtle twists that made them luxurious and unique.
